Monitoring Procedure for Solar Cooling Systems
- A joint technical report of subtask A and B (D-A3a / D-B3b)
-
Report A3b
- A technical report of subtask A (Pre-engineered systems for residential and small commercial applications) This report summarizes the monitoring activities on small-scale solar heating and cooling (<20kW) systems carried out within subtask A of IEA-SHC Task 38. All systems were monitored according to the monitoring procedure developed within Task 38 (report A3a). However, the level of detail varies from system to system.

Report A3b+App
- A technical report of subtask A (Pre-engineered systems for residential and small commercial applications) This report summarizes the monitoring activities on small-scale solar heating and cooling (<20kW) systems carried out within subtask A of IEA-SHC Task 38. All systems were monitored according to the monitoring procedure developed within Task 38 (report A3a). However, the level of detail varies from system to system. In this file for 10 systems a more detailed report on the monitoring results is attached as an appendix.

Online-tool "CHECK-LIST METHOD FOR THE SELECTION AND THE SUCCESS IN THE INTEGRATION OF A SOLAR COOLING SYSTEM IN BUILDINGS"
- The online-tool is based on the feedback of European solar cooling experiences in the framework of IEA SHC Task 38. The method and tool has been developed to support the evaluation of the potential of using solar cooling technology in the early phase of a project. Thereby all important aspects are considered: beside technical boundary conditions also financial aspects, questions related to building space and areas for installation of solar collector systems and issues of knowledge and interest of involved stakeholders are assessed. At the end the check-list method gives a hint about the feasibility of the particular project under consideration.
